Monsoon Session of Parliament: Due to Corona, social and business activities have been limited across the country. But for the past few days, the decreasing outbreak of Corona has given a sigh of relief to the people. Now it is expected that the monsoon session of Parliament can also be started from its scheduled time. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi has given important information regarding this.
Parliament session will be held on time?
Prahlad Joshi said on Tuesday that in the midst of the second wave of Corona, the government is hopeful that the monsoon session of Parliament will start as per its normal schedule in July. Since the pandemic started, the duration of three sessions of Parliament has been reduced and the entire winter session had to be canceled last year.
Last year the monsoon session started in September. Usually this session starts in July. Joshi told PTI, ‘I am hopeful that the Parliament session will start as per normal schedule, starting in July.’ Sources said the modalities for organizing the monsoon session this year are still under discussion.
Vaccination work completed
According to sources, the meeting of committees of Parliament is also likely to start from the third week of June. The administration is confident of holding this session in July as most of the MPs, most personnel of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats and other concerned parties have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
