Radhe Shyam is an Associate in Nursing coming Indian amount romantic drama film written and directed by Radha avatar Kumar, stellar Prabhas, and Pooja Hegde. it’s shot at the same time in Telugu and Hindi languages. The film is made by UV Creations and T-Series. Set in Europe of the Nineteen Seventies, the film tells the story of Vikram Hindu deity, a palmister World Health Organization is conflicted between destiny and his love for Prerana.

The film’s score consists of S. Thaman. The film has 2 completely different soundtracks for Hindi and Telugu versions. Mithoon and Manan Bhardwaj composed the Hindi songs whereas Justin Prabhakaran composed the Telugu songs. The motion-picture photography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and written material is done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Principal photography of the film commenced in October 2018 and led to the Gregorian calendar month 2021, with photography happening in Hyderabad, a European country, and Georgia.

Radhe Shyam Release Date

Film Radhe Shyam was originally scheduled to release on 30 July 2021, however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Later in July 2021, it was announced that the film will be released on 14 January 2022 but in early January, UV Creations announced that film was postponed due to the Omicron variant. In February 2022, it was announced that the film is now scheduled to be released on 11 March 2022. The film is planned to release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Movie Review:

After the hit ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Walimai’ flop, now another southern film has been released in theaters. However, unlike the last two films released today, ‘Radhe Shyam’ has not been dubbed but has been shot in two languages (Tamil and Hindi).

Story: The writer is confused and there is no breath in the love story

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde love each other. If Pooja is a doctor, then Prabhas can see the future by looking at his hands. The prediction of Prabhas is exactly true. So the film is not only a love story but also a commentary on science and astrology. According to doctors, Pooja’s life-threatening illness will not allow her to live for more than two months, but according to Prabhas, Pooja will live for many years. Prabhas, on the other hand, has no line of love. Then what will happen to the love story of Prabhas and Pooja, can be seen in this film.

For today’s youth, there is nothing special about Radhakrishna Kumar’s story because he is not interested in what the prophecies, the stars, tell him. The author wants to promote astrology through this film to show that a person has the courage and fortitude to change his own destiny, it seems that the author does not know this. The weakest link in Radha Krishna Kumar’s screenplay is that when Prabhas shows a ray of hope to Pooja who is ill, Pooja’s uncle gets angry and asks Prabhas to get out of the hospital. If a person is showing a ray of hope to a sick person, then what is wrong with it is not understood while watching the movie.

Before the climax, when Prabhas talks to Pooja who is lying unconscious in the hospital, it is natural for the audience to get emotional in that scene, but in reality, it does not happen. The climax has plenty of visual effects and computer graphics, but the stunt climax doesn’t strike a chord. The dialogue between Abbas Dalal and Hussein Dalal is fine but this kind of love story requires strong dialogue.

Acting: The acting is good but the scenes take away the fun

Prabhas is very handsome but his acting is also good. Especially for this film, he has put a lot of effort into his body, for which he has to be appreciated. Pooja Hegde also looks very beautiful and her acting is good. Sachin Khedekar’s work is admirable. Bhagyashree doesn’t have much space in the role of Prabhas’ mother. Kunal Roy Kapoor’s acting is fine. It is not clear why Murali Sharma and Anuradha Patel were cast. They don’t even have much dialogue. Bina doesn’t have much of a role in Pooja’s grandmother. Sathyaraj’s performance in the role of Paramahansa is average.

Directing and music: Both could have been better

Radhakrishna Kumar’s direction is nothing special. The director made a big canvas film and shot it in a very beautiful location. But this film does not strike a chord. There is melody in the music of Mithun, Manan Bhardwaj, and Amal Malik but such a love story needs to get super hit music. The songs in this movie are not hits. The lyrics (Kumar, Manoj Muntashir, Mithun, and Rashmi Virag) are good. Luxurious Merchant’s choreography is great. The background music of Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara is beautiful.

Manoj Paramahansa’s camera work has to be appreciated. The action scenes and stunts of Nick Powell and Peter Haynes are good but the thrill element should have been a bit more. If Kotagiri Venkateshwar Rao’s editing had been better, the audience would have had more fun.

Conclusion: The film will not survive

Overall, Radheshyam is more likely to flop, as the story does not touch the heart. It is a big-budget film, so it is difficult to cover the cost of production.
