Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech has his sights on joining AC Milan when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

The Moroccan wanted to join the Rossoneri during the summer transfer window, but the Blues refused to do business.

The Serie A champions proposed a loan deal with an option to buy, but Chelsea were adamant that they wanted a permanent bid.

However, their stance seems to have changed ahead of January and it is reported that they would accept a similar proposal.

Milan are now prepared to make a loan approach with a £13m buy clause and are confident that a transfer will go through.

Ziyech has played less than 300 minutes of first-team football at Chelsea this term, but he has still excelled for Morocco.

He has been one of their best performers at the World Cup and Milan will be hoping that there is no fresh competition for him.

Manchester United were linked with Ziyech in the summer.
