Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will reportedly walk away on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
The Italian has been a mainstay for the west London giants since 2018, but the hierarchy have refused to meet his wage demands.
Jorginho has demanded close to £150,000-a-week to pen an extension, but the Blues are clear that they won’t pay him that much.
As a result, there has been a contract impasse and The Athletic claim that the midfielder is expected to leave on a free transfer.
The Euro 2020 winner won’t be short of offers, considering Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are long-term admirers.
There is also interest from Juventus from the Serie A while Napoli could also be tempted to re-sign on a Bosman agreement.
Aside from Jorginho, his Blues teammate N’Golo Kante is also expected to head out of the club when his deal expires next summer.
