Chelsea are planning a shock move for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho, according to Calciomercatoweb.

Sancho joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund for €80m last summer but he has since struggled for consistency.

He fell out-of-favour under manager Erik ten Hag before the World Cup and reports claim that he could leave the club soon.

Chelsea were interested in Sancho during his Dortmund days and it is claimed that they could make a shock raid for him.

Meanwhile, United hold an interest in Christian Pulisic and there are suggestions that there could be a swap deal on the cards.

Sancho is obviously valued higher than his former Dortmund teammate and Chelsea will need to offer more money on top of Pulisic.

It will be interesting to see whether such a deal materialises. It would come as a huge shock if the clubs decide to swap players in January.

Both United and Chelsea are currently outside of the top four.
