Juventus and Inter Milan are exploring a free transfer for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante at the end of the season.
Kante has been with the Blues for the past six years, but could be on his way out on a free transfer next summer.
The Frenchman has suffered numerous injuries over the last few seasons and Chelsea have decided against an extension beyond June 2022.
Hence, he can start negotiating with foreign teams from January itself and both Inter and Juventus are said to be keen on landing his services.
Juventus have been long-term admirers of him, but Inter could have an edge over them as they don’t have an imposed salary cap.
The Bianconeri have set a salary cap of around €7m per year and this could scupper their chances of landing Kante next summer.
Paris Saint-Germain are also admirers of the World Cup winner, but advisor Luis Campos is said to be against a move for Kante.
