LSG vs CSK Weather
In the match between LSG and CSK, the weather will be clear and the temperature will be around 34 degrees.
PITCH AND CONDITIONS
Brabourne’s position is going to be excellent for batting. We saw DC chasing brilliantly against MI in the last match we played here. The ball hit the bat well and the batsmen also managed to cross the boundary with ease. The same can happen in this competition as well. A score of around 180-190 is the minimum that the teams batting first should aim for.
Team News
LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS
LSG had a terrific start in their previous match against Gujarat Titans but managed to bounce back in the game later. It lost but KL Rahul was not bothered at all and was quite happy with the performance of his new players.
We are going to assume that LSG is going to play with the same eleven in this match as no major additions have been made to the team between matches. That is, KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, and Evin Lewis will be in the top-3 for the team. This is a very strong top-order that will be fun to bat on at the Brabourne Stadium. We will support all of them to score runs in their individual over/under betting markets.
Manish Pandey may have failed but he is still a useful player in the middle order and the lower order of Hooda, Pandya and Badoni showed that it can contribute with runs as well. This should give the top order the freedom to play their shots and not worry about the wickets. We think LSG has a stronger batting lineup than CSK at the moment.
The problem could be with LSG’s bowling. Avesh Khan was walking a lot in the last match and was also less in speed. He may find it difficult as a leading bowler now that he doesn’t have Rabada + Nortje for the company. Mohsin Khan was not very good and spinners have to struggle in Mumbai.
The big boundaries might allow Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda, and Kunal Pandya to be more dominant but their match against Moeen Ali is going to be crucial.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS
CSK’s batting was very poor and it lacked any modern T20 approach as they scored 131 for 5 against KKR. Moeen Ali’s return to the lineup will mean that Devon Conway will be dropped from the playing XI and Robin Uthappa will move into the opening slot.
There is no doubt that Moeen Ali is the most important player on the team at the moment. He can take down spinners, hit sixes at will, and also provides an important spin-bowling option against left-handed batsmen. Betway offers a ‘To Hit a Six’ betting market where we always take a peek at Moeen Ali! He is just as good at crossing boundaries.
However, don’t discount batting completely, as Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ambati Rayudu, and even Ravindra Jadeja are batsmen with excellent IPL records. We feel there is a lack of power in the lower order and teams can pair CSK with spin bowling in the middle (especially if Moeen Ali is not at the crease).
Adam Milne and Tushar Deshpande took the new ball in the last match and may do so once again. It’s not really a bowling pairing that most teams are going to worry about. Milne is very good, no doubt, but when the batsmen are going after him he flourishes more at the death. Dwayne Bravo took three wickets in the previous match, which proved his anxiety, but he can also be quite expensive.
The individual squads of this team are not very confident and though Dhoni may be able to show his magic to make them perform beyond their abilities, there is no way we can bet on him as the favorite in this match.
