Manchester United are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Fulham defender Kevin Mbabu this month.
The Swiss joined the Cottagers from Wolfsburg after their promotion last summer, but he has made just seven appearances for them.
It is now reported by Tuttomercatoweb that United have entered talks to sign the right-back and discussions are ‘advanced’ at the moment.
The Red Devils are prepared to pay around €6 million for his services.
United’s interest in the 27-year-old comes as a surprise, considering he has hardly played for Fulham over the course of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Dalot’s recent thigh injury could also be serious. Erik ten Hag may consider Mbabu as a stop-gap signing for United.
